Russian Ambassador to Turkey Killed by Turkish Terrorist

Russia’s ambassador to Turkey, Andrey Karlov was shot and killed today while giving a press conference at an art exhibit in the Turkish capital of Ankara.

The Ambassador was several minutes into a speech when an off-duty security guard that was standing behind him shot him to death. The gunman then shouted “Don’t forget Allepo, Don’t forget Syria,” referring to the recent bombardments by Russia on the Syrian Rebels.

Turkish security forces later killed the terrorist after a shootout with police.
