Yerushalayim (Ilana Messika/TPS) – The Shin Bet and IDF troops raided a weapons cache early Tuesday morning in the town of Taysir, in the Dotan area of northern Yehudah and Shomron. Agents found a Negev machine gun, an RPG launcher, smoke grenades, and ammunition.

Jum’a Khaled Diab Amer (30), Yazid Zahi Ahmad Abu Ali (19), Ghanem Muhammad Salih Abu Muhsen (48), the three arms traffickers, were arrested over the past several weeks and confessed to stealing the weapons from IDF bases.

A covert operation of the Yehudah and Shomron police and the IDF also brought to the arrest of five suspects from the Palestinian village of Jilazun on suspicions of throwing Molotov cocktails at security forces along traffic roads in Binyamin. Their interrogation also connected the suspects to a number of incidents that took place in 2016 and the beginning of 2017. The investigation is ongoing and further arrests are expected.

In addition, the IDF arrested 12 suspects during an overnight operation in Yehudah and Shomron, on suspicions of grassroots terrorism and rioting against security forces and civilians. All were transferred to the relevant authorities.
