  1. We made a reservation yesterday for 3 people, and we were really looking forward to it, but when we got to the restaurant, it was closed and the door was locked. We made the reservation via Google and received a confirmation of our reservation. A gentleman from the restaurant next door saw us trying the door and came out to tell us the restaurant was closed for the week.

    1. Sorry to hear that. Carve Bistro is probably closed because Orthodox Jews generally don’t eat meat during the Nine Days, the period of mourning leading up to Tisha B’Av. It’s unfortunate that Google reservations apparently weren’t disabled during that time.

It may be worth reaching out to the restaurant directly regarding your reservation. Thanks for sharing your experience.
