Elul is a time to quiet the noise, open our hearts, and find our way back to Hashem. It’s a month that reminds us that no matter how far we may feel, He’s right here, waiting for us to take that first step. As the words אני לדודי ודודי לי express, when we turn toward Hashem, He draws us closer. Let’s take advantage of this special time when מלך נמצא בשדה, Hashem is right here with us, eagerly waiting for us with open arms.
