A native of Boston, Rabbi Fyvel Shuster grew up in the shul of the Bostoner Rebbe zt”l, and learned in yeshivos in Israel and America, also earning a university degree in computer science. After receiving semicha from Rav Aharon Shechter shlita, Rosh Yeshiva of Chaim Berlin, he began teaching and giving drashos in the Skokie Yeshiva. Since moving to Eretz Yisroel in 1995, he has taught Israeli and American Talmidim and Talmidos, as a magid shiur in Machon Lev, as Mashgiach of Yeshivas Darchei Noam, and as a popular teacher in many seminaries.
His shiurim draw on sifrei chasidus, mussar, and machshava, and transmit lessons he has received from Gedolei Yisrael both past and present. He clarifies complex topics with stories, meshalim , and humor, applying the sources to our daily lives.
