Yoilish went to Baron Hirsch Cemetery in Staten Island, where the tzaddik R’ Yehuda Tzvi ben R’ Moshe זי”ע, the older brother of Reb Shayale Kerestirer, is buried.
A stunning story has surfaced a few years ago:
A Yid who traveled every year to Reb Shayale’s kever in Kerestir couldn’t make it one year. That night, Reb Shayale came to him in a dream and said:
“Don’t worry. My brother is buried in New York. Go daven at his kever and you’ll be helped just like by me.”
It’s well known that R’ Yehuda Tzvi was his personal shliach in America, receiving and sending the kvitlach to Kerestir.
Yoilish met Shimon Posen from Reb Shayale’s Kitchen, Levi Leifer from Shmira, and others at the site—and heard how thousands are now coming to this hidden kever to daven for yeshuos.
