Massive preparations are underway for the Satmar Rebbe’s Hachnasas Sefer Torah this Lag BaOmer. NYPD Willamsburg Shomrim and the NYC Mayors Office and event organizers led by Yochi Fleischman of YF Productions met to coordinate logistics and security. Plans include a large children’s program on Bedford Avenue, followed by festive dancing at the Main shul.
