Yisroel Sosna: Zanvil Weinberger – Vsechzenu |

A Special Mass Singing Performance for the Sukkot Holiday

There are moments when a melody is much more than music. It is a prayer, a longing, and a yearning.

Ahead of the Sukkot holiday, “Shirushir” is being released – an emotional mass singing music video featuring the masterpiece “V’Sechezena” by singer Zanvil Weinberger.

The video was created as part of a unique performance for the residents of Ashdod, sponsored by the Ashdod Heritage Center, headed by Avi Amsalem, Acting Mayor, and produced by Yossi Frankel, featuring Zanvil Weinberger and maestro Israel Sosna, together with hundreds of voices.

“V’Sechezena” expresses the yearning for the rebuilding of the Holy Temple, to witness its sacred service in all its glory and to return to Jerusalem, rebuilt.

And as the Sukkot holiday begins – the yearning transforms into one great song.
