This morning, residents on 19th Avenue between 63rd and 64th Street woke up to a shocking scene.
An unknown vandal caused horrific destruction at around 7:30pm last evening, and smashed the windows of nearly all the cars parked along the road. Glass was scattered all over the road, sidewalk, and inside the cars, and multiple vehicles sustained significant damage.
Surveillance footage obtained by BoroPark24, and attached here, captured the brazen act of vandalism as the unknown suspect shatters the windows of nearly every parked car, completely undeterred by the steady flow of pedestrians and passing vehicles.
An investigation has been opened to find the perpetrator.
